The death of a young girl create protest.

Mahsa Amini also known as Jina Amini is an Iranian girl, she’s 22 years old. She died on the 16th of September in Iran under suspicious circumstances. She was held back for not wearing the hijab in accordance with government standards. She was spotted and detained by the police. This situation caused protests against the government of Iran.

 It’s said that Mahsa died because of her medical condition, according to her cousin , Kaziwa, “she was tortured and insulted in the police’s van.”wile according to the police she die of an heart attack. At the age of 8, Amini had a brain tumor that had been removed, the Iranian government was also forging fake medical records for her, showing that she had a history of heart disease.

 A little while after she was brought to the police station, she started to lose vision and she fainted. The ambulance took 30 minutes to arrive and to get to the hospital, an hour and a half. After 2 days of being in a coma in Kasra Hospital in Tehran, she died in intensive care.

The hospital where Amini stayed had posted a statement on Instagram saying that, “she was brain dead before she came to the clinic.”

 On the 17th of September, the police chief of Tehran said that Mahsa had been arrested because she was wearing tight pants and her headscarf was worn the wrong way. 

 At the age of 8, Amini had a brain tumor that had been removed, the Iranian government was also forging fake medical records for her, showing that she had a history of heart disease. 

 As a reaction to her death, the protests quickly began near the emergency clinic. Human rights groups reported that security forces sprayed pepper spray against protesters and that several were arrested. A lot of women on social media posted videos of them cutting their hair in protest, the iIranian government blocked internet access to many online sites in order to make the protesters stop.
