Great start for “Les Éperviers”

The season started very well for cadets D2.  According to the coach, we should be proud of our hockey concentration team.

This year, the coach of the cadet D2 team(players aged between 12 to 15 years old), Mickael, chose Karl Fouquette to be the captain and Andrew Pearce and Zackary Germain as assistants. “I am very proud to be the captain of the team this year, I think that we have a balanced team.” Karl said.

The team is very glad that Karl is the captain because of his leadership and the rigorous routines he gets his players to do before games.

“I like my team because most of the player I have known since secondary 1. I also like my captain because he is very good and his training before the game are very demanding.” Derek Girard, a defenser said.

To be in this concentration, you need to know how to play hockey, you also need to have good grades.  Impeccable behavior at school and on ice is also mandatory.

In this concentration, the players have 8 practice out of 9 days. They also have one game per week against another team. One day per week the practice is at school. Sometimes during their gym practice, they play deck hockey or go to the training room.
