A 15-year-old has been injured after getting hit by a bus on Tuesday morning. The incident happened on Valmont Street in Sainte-Foy at 7:40 in the morning.

The teenager has been hit by an RTC bus at low speed and got stuck between it and a snowbank.

“The bus started to slide due to the icy road. The firefighters were called in to remove the woman from her unfortunate position,” said David Pelletier, spokesperson for the Quebec City Police Department (SPVQ).

“The Coopérative des techniciens ambulanciers” du Québec (CTAQ) said that the victim has been taken to the nearest hospital to take care of her leg injuries. For now, it is impossible to know the gravity of her injuries.
