Everybody knows that technology is improving every day. There are many advantages but also multiples disadvantages especially for children and teenagers.

In 2015, Pew Research Center interviewed teenagers about their internet use and almost 92% of them said they use the internet daily. Most of the time, they are on Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and some teenagers are on Facebook but now, Facebook is not very frequented anymore. Pew Research center reports that only 32% of US teens ages 13 to 17 said they now use Facebook.

There are some positive and negative impacts related to this new current announcing the future. In fact, technology can be very useful in some industry.

Usually, most people are using internet for work and schoolwork. It can also be distracting because of the notifications they get. For example, when a teenager does an online homework and receives a notification, he will tend to see and answer. After, he won’t have the motivation to go back to his work because socials media are more interesting. During this time, teenagers do not progress in their work, and it is one of those reason that it is not always advantageous to work on an electronic device. Since 2015, several studies show a significant increase in the level of exposure to social media and this is a problem that we have to focus on.
