First of all, what are the Grammys? The Grammys are simply an event organized by the Recording Academy of The United States to highlight the best music that got out in the last year. There will only be the general categories’ winners, for more information on the Grammys, you can visit their page directly.

The winner for Record of the Year is Flowers by Miley Cyrus, the track was streamed about 1.6 billion times worldwide, according to Spotify. This was also Miley Cyrus’ first Grammy in 23 years of singing career.

Album of the Year was won by Taylor Swift’s newest album, Midnights. ” I was very sad about the Album of the Year’s winner because I think Lana del Rey’s album was very good and Taylor Swift has had enough,” said Maïté, a student in the Camaradiant.

Billie Eillish’s What Was I Made For ? won Best Song of The Year. First heard in the movie Barbie, the song was a great success worldwide creating trends across the world and social media.

The Best New Artist was won by Victoria Monét She was first recognized with her song On My Mama, which is her fifth EP (extended play).

One of the main events of the night was provided to us by no one else than Ms. Taylor Swift herself. In her acceptance speech, Swift announced her 11th album named The Tortured Poets Departement, there will be 17 tracks total.

Killer Mike was also escorted out of the Crypto.com arena by the police force. He was taken (but then released on Sunday night) after a rumored physical altercation with his team, himself, and an over-enthusiast guard.  “Somebody complains, obviously we have to do something about it,” said an LAPD officer.

Charlie Simard
Hi! My name is Charlie and I’m 15 years old. I like reading and often get lost in music. I started basketball in sec 2 and am pursuing it again this year. I love spending money on useless things or clothes I don't necessarily need. I think my friends would say that I'm smart, a good listener and that I love concerts. Summer is my favorite season because we can be on water all day and we feel free.
