Off-Campus, the new show that premiered on May 13 on Prime Video, is now viral on the internet.

The first season has 8 episodes and follows the complicated love story of Garret Graham and Hannah Wells. Hannah is a smart student who is talented in music but not in seduction, while Garret Graham is the star of his hockey team, but his grades are low. Both of them decide to agree to help each other. While Hannah helps Garret with his grades, Garret helps Hannah seduce the guy she has a big crush on. Together, they build a strong relationship that they are not ready to forget.

Ella Bright, the actress who played Hannah, is only 19 years old compared to the rest of the cast, who are much older than her. Before her role as Hannah, the young actress played Kate Middleton in Season 6 of The Crown. She is now enjoying her biggest career breakout since the show’s release.

Belmont Cameli, the actor who played Garret Graham, is much older than Hannah, being 28 years old. Originally, Cameli entered the University of Illinois but dropped out to pursue a career in acting. Before the release of the show, Belmont was best known for his role as Jamie Spano in the Peacock Saved by the Bell reboot.

Even though the cast is mostly from the United States, the show was filmed in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia. The show took under four months to film, starting on June 9, 2025, and wrapping on October 2, 2025.

Off Campus reached 36 million views in its first 12 days of release, making it the third most-watched debut series in the history of Amazon Prime Video.

The show is inspired by the book The Deal, written by Elle Kennedy. Elle Kennedy is a Canadian author who was raised in the suburbs of Toronto. She wrote her first romance novel at the young age of 12. “I loved the book better because it has way more details than the series,” said Megane.
