Thursday, the Bruins of Boston were opposing The New York Rangers. Right before their match, Céline Dion made a surprising visit to encourage them, people were shocked to see her outside after she got diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder. 

On Thursday, after playing against the Rangers in an epic game, things for the Boston Bruins weren’t looking good after the game, but earlier it was quite the opposite when Céline Dion showed up in their locker room. Unfortunately, even after this surprising visit, they lost 5-2 to the New York Rangers. She had already visited many NHL locker rooms but this time, she was invited to read off the night’s starting lineup for the Boston Bruins. She almost made a show out of it, the interaction was filmed, and many people posted the video.

Céline was introduced by Jim Montgomery, the head coach who happens to be from Montréal. Just before reading the starting lineup she put her glasses on and pointed to a shirtless player saying: ” So here we go. Thank you so much for getting ready for me tonight” as the team laughed.

She then started enumerating the names of the starting lineup, while adding other jokes like: ” You make me hungry. Pasta!” just before announcing David Pastrňák.

Dion’s video of the starting lineup announcing was posted many times, even on the storied club, who posted it on their social media with the caption: “Now, THAT’s a legendary lineup read.” Her appearance at the game made a big deal on social media, a lot of people posted her watching the game and enjoying time with her children. The fact that she is enjoying life while she has a disease makes people happy, as many tweeted about it, others find it random.

Habs fans, feel betrayed seeing that Quebec’s biggest celebrity is with the enemies enjoying the game and encouraging them.
