XO, Kitty is a 3-season teen romantic comedy drama on Netflix and a spin-off of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise.
The first chapter came out on May 18th, 2023. The second one premiered on January 16th, 2025, and the last season came out recently on April 2nd, 2026. The third chapter was officially announced on Valentine’s Day 2025, after the big success of the second season.
Anna Cathcart plays the main character, Kitty Song Covey. The role of Dae Kim, Kitty’s ex, is played by Choi Min-Yeong, Yuri Han by Gia Kim, and Sang Heon Lee plays the infamous Min-ho Moon. Anthony Keyvan portrays Q Shabazian, the sporty gay friend of Kitty. The role of Professor Alex Finnerty is played by Peter Thurnwald, Regan Aliyah stars as Juliana Porter, the ex-girlfriend and future former love interest of Yuri, and Jiwon Ahn, the second cousin of Kitty, is portrayed by Hojo Shin.

The series was filmed at the Kaywon University of Art and Design in Seoul, South Korea. The building was used for both indoor and outdoor scenes.
This drama follows Margot and Lara Jean’s (LJ) little sister, Kitty, from the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy, as she faces multiple problems in her last year at KISS, the Korean Independent School of Seoul. There is another misunderstanding about Kitty applying to New York University. And as always, there will be a lot of ups and downs in her relationship with Min-Ho.
“I like watching it, it’s a fun series to watch, but it isn’t my favourite of all time. Although I do recommend it to others,” said Sarah-Maude, a Sec 3 student.
Season one is ten episodes of around 25 to 35 minutes, and seasons two and three are eight episodes. Each season has its keyword that is included in every episode’s title. Example: the first chapter’s theme is an acronym in all the captions, the second one is that the word KISS is included in every title, and the last one contains the word LIST for the eight episodes.
“I preferred the first season since I think that was when Kitty had the best vibe out of the three,” said Mégane, a Sec 3 student.
Anna Cathart, the lead actress, is a 22-year-old Canadian from Vancouver, British Columbia. She was born on June 16th 2003. She used to study at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver.
She decided to start her acting career at the young age of eight. She made that decision to follow her two older siblings out of her love for Disney Channel. She fell in love with performing not long after doing commercials and later pursued her dream of acting on Add Squad as Agent Olympia, and in Descendants, as Dizzy. She gained her fame later on after playing the role of Kitty from 2018 to 2026.
She has played in plenty of shows and movies, like Once Upon a Time, Star Wars: Visions, Spin, Zoe Valentine (main role), Descendants 2 and 3, Odd Squad (main role), To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and XO Kitty (main role).
