After a wait of six months, The Walking Dead TV show is back with another 16 episode season.

On October 22, 2017, on AMC, based on the All out war story from the comics, aired the season’s premiere.

Rick Grimes and his group of survivors were confronted with a deadly challenge. With the comfort of Alexandria, they let their guard down. But that was only to be reminded how the world they live in is brutal. The acquaintance of Negan and the saviors broke the group.

When Rick realised that Negan couldn’t be reasoned with, he began rallying together other communities affected by the Saviors. With the help and support of the Hilltop and Kingdom, their group finally has enough fire power to contest the Saviors.

The production started on April 25, 2017, but on July 12, it had to be shut down after stuntman John Bernecker died, falling more than 20 feet onto a concrete floor. On July 17, the production was resumed.

After the wait, the first trailer for the season was released on July 21, 2017, at San Diego’s Comic-Con.
