On January 14, 2016, Bangtan Boys have been nominated at the 25th Seoul Music Awards. They won the ”The world K-Pop Star” Award on February 17, 2016.

Who are they? 

It’s a Korean boys band formed on June 13, 2013 in Seoul, South Korea. They’re called”Bangtan Boys” but also ”Bangtan Sonyeondan”, ”Bulletproof Boy Scouts” or simply ”BTS”. There are seven members: Kim SeokJin (his nickname: Jin, he’s 23 years old), Min YoonGi ( Suga, he’s 22 years old), Jung HoSeok ( J-hope, he’s 21 years old), Kim NamJoon (AKA Rap Monster, he’s 21 years old), he’s also the leader of the band. Park JiMin ( Jimin, 20 years old), Kim TaeHyung (also known as V) 20 years old) and Jeon JeongGuk( Jungkook, he’s 18 years old), he’s also the Maknae (the youngest of the band). These artists rap, dance, sing, create their own lyrics and even more. Their K-pop music interests pretty much everybody but mainly girls and women because these guys are known to be cute and attracting. They’re also great dancers and very popular in Korea.

Interesting funny facts about them

They won 12 Awards and have been nominated 21 times in only 3 years. They are often on social websites like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. They like to do stupidities, have fun, create some weird dance. They always are competing to know which one has the most fans. Here’s some funny facts about them: Jimin Park is well known for his abs and sexy assets, he also has a lot of knowledge about skin care. Kim TaeHyung likes to show all his teeth when he smiles, he loves kids, he talks/screams when he sleeps (he often says: ”bring me water!”) and he also admires bubbles. Kim NamJoon said few famous quote, one of them is: ”Team work makes the dream work”, he also likes to imitate other members and he’s a really great rapper(that explain his nickname ”Rap Monster”). Min YoonGi was wearing a Naruto costume at Halloween. One day, he lost a bet and he had to wear a woman’s maid dress in public. Jeon JeongGuk is known to be the Maknae (That means the youngest), he’s also good at drawing. Jung HoSeok hates exercising/working out and he’s probably one of the funniest and weirdest guy of the band. KimSeok Jin is also known to be ”Pink princess” or ”Princess Jin” because one time he had to wear a pink dress and it was filmed. Fans of BTS are called A.R.M.Y. Which means, Adorable Representative M.C for Youth.
